Which Drone Is the Best for Beginners?

Not everyone understands the technology of drone and how to use it, but many would like to try such a device. Unfortunately, the professional or semi-professional drones are expensive and can be easily broken if you have no experience. However, there are very good drones that cost around €50 and they are suitable for beginners. One such drone is the tiny Attop XT-1 drone, which is very similar to the professional DJI Mavic Air.

Price and Quality

The price of a DJI Mavic Air drone is usually over €900, but some models are available for sale at a fantastically good price of €695 euros. But even then, the price is simply not comparable to the Attop XT-1. These drones now cost from €30 up to €49. Of course, the cheapest models of €30 do not have a camera. More expensive models have a 2Mpx or 0.3Mpx camera. Although the €50 drone looks quite attractive, especially when you find out that it has quite good quality and has many advantages, is it really that good? Is it worth that money?

Technical Specifications

In front of the drone are LED lights and a camera. The angle adjustment of the camera in front of this drone is not very stable and the camera is protruding quite far forward, so when the drone is shaken harder the camera does not focus the image of 100%. To solve this slight disadvantage, RC Escape used a little glue, as a result, now when the drone is flying in the air, the camera is stable.

The drone is as compact as the DJI Mavic Air. The Attop XT-1 has four propeller designs that are simply folded to the sides and locked. To fold them back and fold the drone compactly again, just press the buttons on the back side of the drone. By the way, you must first press the buttons on the front and thus fold its propeller structure at the front, and only then bend the rear propeller structures.

The Attop XT-1 drone is made of strong ABS plastic and, of course, equipped with enough electronic devices. It has a patented 3.7V / 800 mAh battery, which in real conditions is enough for 7-8 minutes of flight. This is not the longest flight time and as RC Escape claims it would be good for a drone to have two batteries of this type.

LED lighting is practically around the entire drone. There is an on / off button at the top of the drone, and the 4 dots visible next to it are just a design solution but have no technical purpose. The propellers are big enough and the white stripes on them look nice. The drone is also light and comfortable to carry and transport.

In addition to the drone, the complect includes one USB cable for charging the drone battery, two additional propeller segments, a screwdriver, and an English user manual, where you will find a QR code and download the X-PACK AR app to your smartphone. The manual contains all the information about the drone, its remote control, and its functions.
